PREKO, CROATIA

This trip ended up being extra long! I arrived in mid-June and will be returning on September 1, 2023.

I extended my stay to help my parents. These long, hot, and humid summer months take a toll on the elderly. It's been good being here with them.

. 

I spend time cleaning/organizing, cooking meals, and running errands. I also go for daily walks with my mom. She still loves to walk (even when it's hot)!

Although I'm here longer for this trip, I'm not creating as much.

After preparing for my solo show and teaching two workshops in May, I realized I needed a well-deserved break. Feels good to slow down a little and enjoy life.

I feel that the time I have spent creating has been more relaxing. Here are a few pieces I created, plus some fun bookmarks.

Although I always miss my parents, I look forward to my return to California, where I can work on large canvas again.
